- in Graz direction Slovenia – border crossing Spielfeld Strass
- Buy a motorway vignette for Slovenia at the border
- in Slovenia take the motorway to Ptuj in the direction of Croatia, then continue in the direction of Zagreb to the Macelj border crossing
- in Croatia towards Zagreb, then motorway to Split (motorway toll to be paid directly on the motorway, card payment possible)
- in Split follow the yellow signs with the inscription ‘trajektna luka’ (= car ferry); at a junction it is written on the carriageway instead of on a sign – Attention!
- In the harbour in Split, drive up to a barrier, then ask to be directed to the ferry in the direction of Supetar/Brač – buy tickets for the ferry for cars and passengers before boarding on the right in the harbour building at ‘Jadrolinija’
- In Supetar, always drive in the direction of Bol (approx. 36 km)
- in Bol, turn left at the large crossroads and drive straight on until it goes downhill again, then after approx. 150 m it is on the right-hand side (there is usually a blue Honda with a Viennese licence plate next to the house in the driveway)
